Our Team Leila Jenny Becker Leila Jenny Becker, 39 years old, has a degree in business administration and lives in Frankfurt am Main/ Germany. Since 2010, she has held various positions at the IB headquarter. Among other positions, Leila Becker is a member of the board of trustees of the Schwarz Rot Bunt Foundation and a member of the board of the IB Polska Foundation . Ms. Becker has been Managing Director of IBETH and a member of the Board of Directors of ALYADA AG since 2021. In addition to her responsibilities in Turkey, Ms. Becker is Legal Representative of IB Chengdu Education Development Co., Ltd. as well as authorized representative of the IB e.V. of the IB Mthiebi Boarding School in Tbilisi/ Georgia.
Eda Karsel Eda Karsel, 42 years old, has a degree in Marmara University Engineering Department and lives in Istanbul / Turkey. Eda Karsel has been Managing Director of IBETH and a member of the Board of Directors of ALYADA AG since 2021. She has been working as Project Manager for International Development & Cooperation at IB Turkey (IBETH) since 2014. She is the approved Senior Expert by European Union Commission. She is the approved Social Compliance Auditor working the leading companies in Turkey and EMEA Region. Eda Karsel did complete the Sustainability Management Programme at UNDP. Eda Karsel, who has been working on sustainability since 2006, is a leading expert on migration and social development, and sustainability.
Carina Russo Valdigem Carina Russo Valdigem, 55, is Italian but has lived in Germany since birth. She has been supporting the International Department at the International Bund since December 2022. Her work focuses on providing administrative support to the team in Frankfurt for the offices in Turkey, Georgia and Switzerland.
Kadri Akdemir Kadri Akdemir, 61 years old, holds a degree in business administration and lives in Frankfurt am Main/Germany. He joined Internationaler Bund as of July 1st 2022 as Finance Manager and is in charge for the Global Subsidiaries. His main duties are the financial support and advisory service for the offices in Turkey, Georgia and in China as well as monitoring and preparing the financial statements.
Zeynep Hazal Kelleoglu Zeynep Hazal Kelleoğlu, 29 years old, has been living in Istanbul since 1994. She graduated from Beykent University with a degree in Translation and Interpreting. She holds a master's degree in Marketing Communications and Public Relations at Bahçeşehir University. After teaching English Language, she decided to change the sector. She joined Internationaler Bund in April 2023 as a Project Assistant.

The Frankfurt Sports Club 'TSV Bonames' supports the earthquake campaign of the IB and collected donations for the earthquake victims in Turkey. Dani Kupcik , Managing Director of the TSV, handed over the Zumba Donation Marathon to Leila Becker , Managing Director of IBETH. The money will be directly transferred to our partner organizations AKUT and AHBAB, who are providing help in the region. 23 million people in Turkey and Syria have been affected by the earthquake, reports the World Health Organization (WHO), with over 35,000 deaths six days after the earthquake disaster. The IB is active in Turkey through the subsidiary IBETH. Internationaler Bund e.V. headquatered in Germany, that provides alternative solutions such as social services for all disadvantaged groups including refugees. IBETH supports AKUT Search and Rescue Association as well as AHBAP Organization for the disaster in southeastern Turkey. These are entirely voluntary, non-governmental organizations involved in searching, assisting, and rescuing all who require aid within its authority and means during natural disasters or other emergencies operated by trained personnel with high-standard equipment. They provide shelter, food, and medical supplies with no political affiliation.
